The things I make serve as reminders to look at our astonishing world with fresh eyes each day. Bits of broken pottery and glass, old beads, abandoned toys, forgotten figurines, all the discarded detritus of our busy lives, can take on new meaning when put back together in unexpected ways. I am always surprised by what I have created, and hope the viewer will be too.
